Ah, when the sprite is too big for the resolution, that also happened to me. And i was just doing a single sprite that didn't even stick to console limitations. But you made an entire animation! And it looks amazing! What a bummer that you had to edit it all just because of the size, i hope that wasn't too much work. It was quite the pain for me when that sprite didn't fit the resolution, i didn't do much but it was annoying to do, lowering the sprite by a few pixels and the fix the mistakes that happened because of me lowering the sprite heigh, check if it fits, all that.

I will also try that shadow in sonic 1 rom-hack you mentioned, it'll probably be very fun.

Omg! I love this!! Is this by any chance inspired by Ristar the Shooting Star? I love that game!

I like the goofy style this goes for, the colors are very nice.

Really like the ideas and design! I imagine playing as this version of Samus as an evolution of the og zero suit section in Metroid Zero Mission, you're still fragile and the gameplay is still about stealth but now you have more options that allow for more interesting ways of going around and getting yourself from tight situations.

Really like how this looks! Some things i would change personally are the proportions, make the head less wide and more large all around (i still like how it looks because it reminds me of a plush who got his face a lil squished up lol), the body more small and the limbs less thick but keeping the gloves and shoes the same cause making the limbs thinner would make it more similar to the actual style and proportioning of sonic characters. Really like the colors and bg, forgot to mention it, looooolz.

Really like the style! Reminds me of late(?) 2000's and early 2010's cartoons.

Thank you. Those are actually what I grew up with so they're my biggest inspirations.

It's very clear that here you tried to recreate the sonic adventure style in the proportioning and pose which i imagine is also inspired by a sonic adventure render. The shoes, legs, body and head are very well made but the arms and gloves need a lot of work. The hand behind the body is backwards and the one in front of it is very weirdly proportioned. Hands are something i also struggle with so i understand why these mistakes happen, i'd recommend watching some tutorial vids on youtube on how to draw hands. The arm behind the body is mostly okay, the front one follows a kinda weird arc. The last thing i wanna mention is that arms in sonic characters usually start thin and get thicker as it gets near the hand.
Hope these little critiques help ya :D!

Yea I admit I need some work on my posing and hands. The backwards hand was me thinking about how it'd look in a first person view. The front arm was me mostly looking at my own style of drawing Sonic characters and the way Yuji Uekawa did it in his earlier style. As for the front hand, I sort of had a perspective idea in mind and I didn't want to make the hand too big but not too small. Thanks for the critique and suggestions! I'll be sure to implement this advice in the future.

Pansexual, genderfluid idiot who draws. I
mainly draw sonic.exe stuff and other shit from time to time, my art always ends up outdated someway lol.
